Extensive Interest Among Commercial Operators During Last Week's Expos

The OXE was displayed at two exhibitions last week: SeaWork Asia in Shanghai and The Workboat Show in New Orleans. Both shows were successful and many commercial operators expressed their eagerness to incorporate the diesel outboard into their existing applications.

OXE Launch During SeaWork Asia

The interest was extensive when Sime Darby Industrial invited media contacts and commercial operators to the product launch of OXE Diesel on the Chinese market, during SeaWork Asia last week. It was the biggest happening of the show and a successful event for Tractors Singapore Ltd (TSL) and The China Engineers, Limited (CEL), OXE distributors in China & South East Asia and subsidiaries of the Sime Darby Industrial Division.

“The product launch of OXE Diesel at SeaWork Asia was met with great interest and curiosity. The group of invited media contacts and commercial operators witnessed and were pleased with the release of the OXE - a new innovative product on the Chinese market. It is the beginning of an exciting journey for OXE in the Chinese and South  East Asian market,“ says Magnus Folin, CEO at Cimco Marine and Cimco representative at SeaWork Asia.

Great Enthusiasm Towards the OXE During The Workboat Expo

Laborde Products were displaying the OXE engine at The Workboat Show in New Orleans, and all three of Cimco’s U.S. distributors – Laborde Products, Cascade Engine Center and Mack Boring & Parts Company – were present and in force at the show. This demonstrates a unified advance into the market with a product set to change the outboard motor industry.

“The Workboat Expo in New Orleans was a clear success for the OXE and reflected the enthusiasm towards our product experienced at every other expo globally and to date,” said Jim Denley, Distribution Developer at Cimco Marine and Cimco representative at the show. “As well as firm governmental interest, small craft fisherman saw the functionality, capability and efficiency of the OXE diesel as a clear winner and were eager to incorporate the outboard into their existing applications.”
