Our Norwegian distributor Per Wikheim around Norway tour with twin OXE Diesels
Our Norwegian distributor Per Wikheim at Link Norway (http://www.oxe-diesel.no/) is well under way on the second stage of the around Norway tour with the Aluventure 1100 with twin OXE Diesels.
The second stage starts in Arendal and ends in Stavanger. On the way several stops will be made to demo the boat, Kristiansand, Mandal, Lindesnes, Farsund, Flekkefjord and Egersund, we urge all with an interest to visit Per as he makes his way up the norwegian coast line.
In the attached video Per performs sound measurements of the OXE Diesel. At idle close to the engines we measure 71-67dB.In the cabin it is reduced to 60dB.
At cruising speed 28 knots the sound measures 67dB and at 33 knots the sound increases to 70dB.
Credit should be given to the Aluventure boat and the well isolated cabin and to the low noise level of the OXE Diesel, making it possible to work and travel on the water for extended periods of time.
