The Only High Performance Diesel Outboard Approved by EU Recreational Craft Directive

OXE Diesel is the only high performance diesel outboard that has been approved by the EU Recreational Craft Directive. It is a European Union directive which sets out minimum technical, safety and environmental standards for the trade of boats, personal watercraft, marine engines and components in Europe.

The recreational craft sector is regulated by European Commission to ensure sustainable development from an economic, social and environmental perspective. These directives and regulations are important since the recreational craft industry has high impact on the environment and its' economic significance for the EU.

The certification strengthens Cimco's dedication to contribute with a sustainable and fuel-effiecient diesel outboard engine - the OXE Diesel. The OXE is a well proven diesel engine inherently more efficient than gasoline engines contributing to low fuel consumption. It consumes 42% less fuel than a comparable modern 200hp 2-stroke outboard.
